JOB DESCRIPTION.

Rockwell Beer Co. is opening a new production brewery and tasting room in Summer 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri. We are building a team of hospitality professionals, with at least 2 years of prior experience, who are excited to be a part of the St. Louis brewing community. Our preferred team members for these full-time positions are passionate about high quality beer, have a friendly disposition and possess excellent communication skills. Qualifications.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in serving, bartending or FOH management
  • Beer related experience/credentials/training/seminar certificates are a plus
  • Working knowledge of tasting room and brewery related best practices
  • Leadership experience & team building are also a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES.

  • Assume increasingly important responsibility as delegated by our Tasting Room Manager or GM in all portions of sales, event planning and serving of our products
  • Assist in managing all facets of the Rockwell Beer Co. Tasting Room and Retail Store
  • Manage and coordinate special events in the Tasting Room
  • Supervise and train team members and manage hospitality resources to meet objectives
  • Ability to work independently, as well as coordinating with Sales/Marketing and Production Teams
  • Assist in planning budgets, track inventory, and records of product sold
  • Manage point of sale systems and educate staff on usage
  • Collaborate with multiple groups and be a successful multi-tasker
  • Maintain a calendar with special events and special releases in the Tasting Room
  • Oversee projects and manage events and beer releases with lots of moving parts
  • Shop upkeep, tend bar and stock Retail Store with merchandise
  • Properly enforce all federal, state and local regulations
  • Engage with a wide variety of customers while providing a relaxing, friendly environment
  • Solicit customer feedback and analyze to identify opportunities to improve guest experience
  • Represent the brewery at both local and regional events
  • Working knowledge of the beer industry, beer styles and common ingredients
  • Ability to thrive in our hard-working, dynamic Rockwell Beer Co. family environment
  • Other similar and related duties as assigned
